Dorman is 8-1 against River Bluff since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Cavaliers will take on the Gators at 12:00 p.m. Dorman will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Dorman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Boiling Springs as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Dorman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Meg Rousseau, who had four digs, three aces, and one block.

Rousseau wasn't the only good servers: Dorman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in nine consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, River Bluff faced Wando in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Gators walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warriors.

Dorman's record is now 29-6. As for River Bluff, their record now sits at 32-12.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's contest: Dorman hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 4.9 blocks per game. It's a different story for River Bluff, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 blocks. Given Dorman's sizable advantage in that area, the Gators will need to find a way to close that gap.

Dorman beat River Bluff 2-0 when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
