Basketball Recap: Thousand Oaks Takes a Loss

Thousand Oaks lost against Westlake back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Thousand Oaks Lancers fell 57-46 to the Westlake Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Warriors are ranked 106th).

Thousand Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Westlake, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Thousand Oaks has already played their next matchup (against Agoura), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Westlake has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Newbury Park.
