Volleyball Recap: Gardena Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against King/Drew, Gardena was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Santee Falcons. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Gardena had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-14.

Gardena now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Santee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
