Softball Recap: Hackensack Takes a Loss

Hackensack lost against Northern Highlands back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Comets fell 10-5 to the Highlanders. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Janae Neal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Briana Darling, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Hackensack's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northern Highlands, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hackensack will take on Dwight Morrow at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northern Highlands, they will face off against Ramsey at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
