Softball Recap: Hamilton Has No Trouble Against Williams Field

Hamilton got themselves on the board against Williams Field on Tuesday, but Williams Field never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Williams Field Black Hawks as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Jazmin Ramirez made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Ramirez was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Viviana Camacho, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abigaile Parker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Hamilton's record is now 2-0. As for Williams Field, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3-1.

Hamilton has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Fullerton on the 6th. As for Williams Field, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-4 defeat against Mountain View on the 5th.
