Volleyball Recap: Middletown Christian Comes Up Short

If Middletown Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Yellow Springs on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Dixie Greyhounds on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.

Dixie found their leader in sophomore Avah Leach, who had seven digs and six aces.

Middletown Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Dixie, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Middletown Christian nor Dixie have any future games scheduled.
