Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Culbertson Cowboys walked away with it. They pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Warriors. The win was just what Culbertson needed coming off of a 66-44 loss in their prior matchup.
Donte Eagle Boy had a dynamite game for Culbertson, scoring 20 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Bridger Salvevold, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Culbertson's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Savage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-6.
Culbertson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-25 loss vs. Scobey/Opheim on the 1st. Savage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
