Glendora had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the San Dimas Saints get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Tartans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Brayden Johnson looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aaron Jacobsen, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two doubles and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Santiago Garza, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Glendora's win bumped their record up to 23-10. As for San Dimas, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 19-11 record.
