Basketball Recap: St. Paul Central Sets Scoring Season-High Against Harding

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Paul Central). They claimed a resounding 88-27 victory over the Harding Knights. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Minutemen with their most commanding win of the season.

St. Paul Central found their leader in freshman Elizabeth Adedigba, who posted 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Adedigba has scored all season. Cynara Easley was another key player, putting up 14 points.

St. Paul Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Harding, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Central won't have much time to rest: their next match is against South St. Paul at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Harding, they will welcome Christ's Household of Faith at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
