Soccer Recap: Putnam County Takes a Loss

Putnam County lost against Oglethorpe County back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The War Eagles came up short against the Patriots, falling 5-0. Putnam County just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Putnam County's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Oglethorpe County, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Putnam County will square off against Prince Avenue Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Putnam County are facing Prince Avenue Christian at the right time seeing as Prince Avenue Christian are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Oglethorpe County, they will take on Meadowcreek at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Oglethorpe County will be up against Meadowcreek's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.25 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
