Sherando has gone 9-1 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sherando has three straight wins, Liberty has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Sherando and Skyline, and Sherando kept the tradition alive. The Warriors beat the Hawks on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 67-49.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty faced off against Fauquier on Tuesday. 2026 welcomed the Eagles with a 66-40 loss courtesy of the Falcons.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Sherando, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Everything came up roses for Sherando against Liberty in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, as the team secured a 70-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
