Ava entered their tilt with Hollister on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Tigers 13-3. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hannah Forrest was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Paris Henry, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Ava pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Hollister, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Coming up, Ava will be playing at home against Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hollister, they will face off against Conway at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
