Volleyball Game Preview: Satellite Scorpions vs. West Shore Wildcats

Satellite has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Shore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Scorpions will head out to square off against the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Satellite saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Merritt Island.

The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 25-10.

Despite the loss, Satellite saw an underclassman step up: freshman Cady Tinch had 23 digs and one assist. Tinch has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, West Shore lost 3-0 to Viera on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost nine in a row.

Satellite's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for West Shore, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Satellite came out on top in a nail-biter against West Shore when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Scorpions repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
