            Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Lions vs. Midland Christian Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Trinity Christian extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 9-11-1 in the process. They lost  15-0 to the Midland Christian Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  20-1  on Tuesday.
As for Midland Christian, the  victory was  the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
For Midland Christian's part,  Maddy Munoz made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Munoz has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  triple and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  Ilyssa Foisy was a standout: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run and six  RBI. Those  six  RBI gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nevaeh Williams, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Coming up, Trinity Christian will welcome Slaton  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Midland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
