There's no place like home for Wood Memorial, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Springs Valley Blackhawks 24-8 on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Blackhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got Wood Memorial back to even at 1-1. As for Springs Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Wood Memorial will take on Evansville Bosse at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Springs Valley, they will challenge Bloomfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
