Raymond Boys struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with one or fewer walks. On the year, he has an ERA of 8.59 over 15.2 innings pitched.

Boys' strong effort led Knox over North Judson-San Pierre and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redskins have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
