Baldwin and Cherokee Bluff squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Baldwin had to settle for second. They took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee Bluff Bears. The Braves' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Baldwin lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Janaye Walker, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 19 boards. The match was her sixth in a row with at least 20 points. Kassidy Neal was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.

Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 25-7. As for Cherokee Bluff, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Baldwin nor Cherokee Bluff have any future games scheduled.
