            Bloomfield never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hudson Catholic Hawks by a score of  10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring effort was just what the Bengals needed considering they were shut out in their previous   game.
 Noah Attas was a  major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Bloomfield is undefeated when he allows at  most  two  walks, but 2-13 otherwise. Attas was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high.

 In other batting news, Bloomfield let  Sean Sayers and  Darious Rivas run wild. Sayers  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run, while  Rivas  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  doubles, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  two  doubles gave  Rivas a new career-high.  Jayden Morales was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with two  runs.
 Bloomfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .636. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Bloomfield's record is now 5-13. As for Hudson Catholic,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-18.
 Bloomfield and Hudson Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Bengals (ranked 263rd) will meet Montclair Kimberley Academy (ranked 52nd)  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile,  Hudson Catholic will  challenge  St. Peter's Prep  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday with a big rank  disadvantage  (341 vs. 23).
