Volleyball Recap: Golden West Trailblazers vs. Reedley Pirates
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Golden West can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Reedley Pirates on Thursday. The Trailblazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.
While Golden West was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.

Leading Reedley to victory were Jocelyn Rodriguez and Renae Mireles. Rodriguez had 17 digs and five aces, while Mireles had 11 digs. The dominant performance gave Rodriguez a new career-high in aces.
