Soccer Recap: Thomas Sumter Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Thomas Sumter Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Charleston Collegiate Sundevils.

Thomas Sumter Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Charleston Collegiate, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Thomas Sumter Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Calhoun County at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Charleston Collegiate, they have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against First Baptist School on the 17th.
