Football Game Preview: Frontier Regional Red Hawks vs. Commerce Red Raiders

Frontier Regional is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will square off against the Commerce Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Frontier Regional has five straight wins, Commerce has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Frontier Regional humbled Greenfield with a 38-6 victory. Fans of the Red Hawks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-16, which was the final score in Commerce's tilt against Taconic on Friday.

Frontier Regional's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Commerce, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Frontier Regional strolled past Commerce in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 24-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
