Basketball Recap: North Linn's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to 16

It's playoff time, and North Linn had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 33-29 victory over the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels on Wednesday. The Lynx are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

North Linn's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 20-4 record.

Coming up, North Linn will face off against Newell-Fonda on Friday. One thing working in Newell-Fonda's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 18 matchups. Gladbrook-Reinbeck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
