Preview: Providence Grove Patriots vs. Southern Guilford Storm
After three games on the road, Providence Grove is heading back home. They will take on the Southern Guilford Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Providence Grove is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southern Guilford in North Carolina (Providence Grove is ranked 160th, while Southern Guilford is ranked 383rd).
Last Wednesday, Providence Grove earned a 48-38 victory over Southern Guilford.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Providence Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than JADA NIXON, who scored 13 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which NIXON has scored at least 25% of Providence Grove's points. BROOKE INGRAM was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Providence Grove's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Southern Guilford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
