Recap: Parkland Trojans vs. Easton Area Rovers
The Parkland Trojans entered their tilt with the Easton Area Rovers with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Parkland took down Easton Area 62-45 on Saturday. Given Parkland's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Easton Area is ranked 348th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Easton Area's loss came despite strong showings from Adonis Pompilus and Jack Grimmer. Pompilus scored nine points, while Grimmer scored six points.
Parkland pushed their record up to 14-3 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Easton Area, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkland and Northampton will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Easton Area, they will be playing at home against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
