Softball Game Preview: Sandy Pioneers vs. Clackamas Cavaliers

For the second straight game, Sandy will face off against Clackamas. The Pioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sandy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Clackamas get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Sandy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Clackamas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
