Baseball Recap: Deerfield Takes a Loss

Deerfield lost to Glenbrook North on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Spartans, falling 13-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deerfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Glenbrook North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Glenbrook North is taking a road trip to challenge Saint Viator at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. Deerfield will be paying especially close attention to Glenbrook North's contest: after Glenbrook North faces off against Saint Viator, they'll take on Deerfield again at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
