Mid Valley extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 15-1-1 in the process. They never let the Western Wayne Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Ava Hazelton made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elise Larson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Mackenzie Adolfson was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
