Softball Recap: Gilbert Takes a Loss

Gilbert lost to Thomaston back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Bears, falling 8-1.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Thomaston, their record is now 6-7-1.

Gilbert will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nonnewaug at 3:45 p.m. on the 21st. As for Thomaston, they will be playing at home against Gilbert-Northwestern Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Bears are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
