Landon Semelsberger leads a balanced attack to beat Bedford

Recap: Penn Cambria Panthers vs. Bedford Bisons

The Penn Cambria Panthers lost to the Bedford Bisons back in February of 2023, but the Penn Cambria Panthers didn't allow the Bedford Bisons the same satisfaction on Monday. Penn Cambria came out on top against Bedford by a score of 64-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Penn Cambria.

Penn Cambria got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Semelsberger out in front who scored 14 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Semelsberger has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Gibbons, who scored 15 points.

Despite the defeat, Bedford had strong showings from AJ Koontz, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds, and Jacob Wilson, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Quincy Swaim was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and two steals.

Penn Cambria's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Bedford, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Greater Johnstown the next time they take the court. Bedford will host Greater Johnstown at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Penn Cambria will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
