Soccer Recap: Streator Takes a Loss

After flying high against Illinois Valley Central last Wednesday, Streator came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 4-2 to the Reed-Custer Comets on Thursday. Streator were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Reed-Custer apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2015.

Streator's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Reed-Custer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Streator will be playing at home against Coal City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reed-Custer, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 win against Streator/Woodland on the 10th.
