Basketball Recap: Luck Comes Up Short

Luck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a blow against the Shell Lake Lakers, falling 66-23. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Lakers are ranked 98th).

Luck's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Shell Lake, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.

Coming up, Luck will challenge Siren at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shell Lake, they will host Webster at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
