Basketball Game Preview: Somerset Bulldogs vs. Carrizo Springs Wildcats

The Somerset Bulldogs will square off against the Carrizo Springs Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Somerset is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Uvalde on Friday. Somerset fell just short of Uvalde by a score of 32-29. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Carrizo Springs played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 61-28 loss at the hands of Devine. The Wildcats were down 43-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Somerset's loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Carrizo Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.
