It was a good run, but Sparkman unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hazel Green Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 2nd.

Sparkman was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Hazel Green work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 28-26.

Sparkman's defeat dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Hazel Green, they pushed their record up to 25-7 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Sparkman has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against New Hope on the 30th. As for Hazel Green, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Buckhorn on the 30th.
