Softball Recap: Eastern Comets vs. Clinton Prairie Gophers

Eastern scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Clinton Prairie Gophers as the Eastern Comets made off with an 11-4 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Eastern let Marly Coan and Maggie Johnson loose on the outfield. Coan went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, and a double, while Johnson scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Emillia Andrews was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

On Clinton Prairie's side, Kadie Fearnow was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with two runs and a triple.
