Volleyball Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

King's Academy was the 3-0 winner over Hillsdale when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Fighting Knights on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King's Academy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

Ben Xiong paced King's Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Xiong got some help from Andronico Netto and his eight assists.

King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Hillsdale, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

King's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Summit Shasta on the 12th. As for Hillsdale, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Washington on the 12th.
