Basketball Recap: Flowery Branch Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Flowery Branch took on Eastside on Friday. The Flowery Branch Falcons took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastside Eagles. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Flowery Branch's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Eastside, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Flowery Branch will face off against Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flowery Branch is facing Walnut Grove at the right time seeing as Walnut Grove is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Eastside, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-43 win against Jasper County on the 7th.
