Baseball Recap: Lakes Comes Up Short

If Lakes was riding high fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Mount Tahoma on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers came up short against the Capital Cougars on Friday, falling 23-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in March.

Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Capital, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-6.

As of now, neither Lakes nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
