Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee extended their losing streak to six on Monday, dropping them down to 2-13. They came up short against the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties, falling 19-3. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mounties from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

As for Mount Greylock Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Mount Greylock Regional's part, Kaleigh Jaros was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Jaros was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Audrianna Pelkey was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Evy Clairmont was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee will challenge Wahconah Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Greylock Regional, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against McCann Tech at 4:30 p.m.
