Softball Recap: American Fork Takes a Loss

American Fork and Mountain Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but American Fork had to settle for second. They came up short against the Sentinels, falling 12-2. The Cavemen just can't catch a break and have now endured 11 defeats in a row.

American Fork saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Jensen, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

American Fork's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Mountain Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-4.

While American Fork had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
