Football Recap: Emmetsburg Gets the Win

Emmetsburg won the last time they faced South Central Calhoun and things went their way on Friday too. The E'Hawks came out on top against the Titans by a score of 34-27. That's two games straight that the E'Hawks have won by exactly seven points.

The win made it two in a row for Emmetsburg and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points over those games. As for South Central Calhoun, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Emmetsburg is set to square off against their familiar foe Northwest Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Central Calhoun will face off against rival East Sac County on Friday.
