Volleyball Game Preview: George Jenkins Eagles vs. Lakeland Dreadnaughts

The George Jenkins Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lakeland Dreadnaughts at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. George Jenkins is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Monday, George Jenkins got the win against Auburndale by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant George Jenkins was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-2.

Meanwhile, Lakeland lost 3-0 to Bartow on Tuesday. The Dreadnaughts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Lakeland ultimately came up short, they really made Bartow work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 26-24.

George Jenkins' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Lakeland, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
