Volleyball Recap: Severance Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Severance can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the University Bulldogs on Friday. The Silver Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-17.

Severance's offense was headlined by Malia Nethery and Isla Jacobo, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Dalaynie Loftin and her ten assists. Sophia Atkinson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Severance's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for University, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Severance and University will both be playing Air Academy the next time they take the court. The Silver Knights will head out to face the Kadets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
