Speedway is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, falling 85-55. While losing is never fun, the Sparkplugs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Raiders are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, Greenwood Christian Academy lost 61-41 to Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on Tuesday.

Speedway's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Speedway and Greenwood Christian Academy were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but Speedway came up empty-handed after a 47-46 loss. Can Speedway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
