            The Anthony Wayne Generals will square off against the Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets at 12:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Anthony Wayne comes in on eight and Mt. Vernon on 20.
Anthony Wayne is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They never let Kings get on the board and left with  a   4-0  win. The Generals' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a  run in their last four  matchups.
Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon's hitters rose to the challenge against an Irish pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.85  runs allowed on Saturday. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on Dublin Scioto with a sharp  11-0 victory. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by six  runs or more this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Keely Pollard, who  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most  home runs  she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rylee Myers, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  stolen base.
 Mt. Vernon was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .367 or higher in six consecutive  contests.
 Mt. Vernon's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Anthony Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 25-4.
