Football Recap: Alchesay Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Alchesay kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 24-20 to the Globe Tigers. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Jaeger Franco was a one-man wrecking crew For Globe. as he rushed for 58 yards and one TD, and also threw for 188 yards and one touchdown on only 17 passes. Those 188 passing yards gave Franco a new career-high. 109 of Franco's passing yards were hauled in by Corban Bejarano.

Coming up, Alchesay will take on Window Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Globe, they will face off against Santa Cruz Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
