Baseball Game Preview: University School Buccaneers vs. Johnson County Longhorns

The University School Buccaneers will head out to take on the Johnson County Longhorns at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

University School came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to Tennessee. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Johnson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Sullivan East, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Longhorns were not able to get on the board.

University School's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Johnson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Everything went University School's way against Johnson County in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as University School made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
