Baseball Recap: Mattanawcook Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mattanawcook can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mount View Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Lynx have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mattanawcook saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Ritchie, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Mattanawcook's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Mount View, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Mattanawcook nor Mount View have any future games scheduled.
