Football Game Preview: Susquehanna Sabers vs. Lackawanna Trail Lions

Susquehanna hasn't had much luck against Lackawanna Trail recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Sabers will host the Lions at 1:00 p.m.

Susquehanna's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Old Forge on Friday. They were outmatched by the Blue Devils and fell 30-0.

Meanwhile, Lackawanna Trail entered their tilt with Carbondale Area on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 35-7 victory over the Chargers. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Susquehanna better keep an eye on Isaac Ryon. He was instrumental in Lackawanna Trail's win, rushing for 223 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries, while also catching one touchdown. Ryon's longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards. Tyler Jervis was another key player, rushing for 41 yards and a pair of TDs.

Susquehanna's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lackawanna Trail, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
