Gordo won the last time they faced Carbon Hill and things went their way on Friday too. The Green Wave blew past the Bulldogs 61-25. Considering the Green Wave have won four matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Makain Robertson was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Another player making a difference was Ryder Robertson, who rushed for 55 yards on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Gordo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Michael Baker and Dayton Miller certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Baker gained 187 total yards and two touchdowns, while Miller threw for 280 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.

The win made it two in a row for Gordo and bumps their season record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Carbon Hill, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Gordo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carbon Hill, they will square off against Meek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
