Virgin Valley has no trouble against Moapa Valley

The Virgin Valley Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Moapa Valley Pirates with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Virgin Valley blew past Moapa Valley 61-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Virgin Valley has posted since December 28, 2023.

Virgin Valley can attribute much of their success to Reece Leavitt, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Leavitt has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Elian Pinto, who scored nine points along with seven assists.

Virgin Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Moapa Valley, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which lines up perfectly with their 4-13-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Virgin Valley will face off against Lincoln County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 435 points over their last six matchups. As for Moapa Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Moapa Valley in Nevada (Democracy Prep Agassi Campus is ranked 13th, while Moapa Valley is ranked 81st).
